Sumeet,
Your book recommendations scare me so I am just going to let Bern read them and let me know how they are.

Everyone else, I love King Corn. It taught me a lot. I have been soda free for 6 months now.

Sumeet, you need to read "The Omnivore's Dilemma"

Everone needs to watch King Corn.

Bern, I'm so glad I read this today about King Corn. I am a documentary freak and have run out of things to watch, but now I have something to do this evening. Renee is in Spain for ten days so I will track down this movie, though I must admit because I live here in the heart of corn country and see the benefits of $3.50/b corn all around me every day, I'm not sure I will like it. If not, I can always pick up a copy of bergdorf blonds, it sounds great.

i hear king corn is good, we'll put it on our blockbuster mail list. i just started reading "unaccustomed earth" by the same author as the namesake. it's good, not as good as the namesake.
