WITCHING HOUR

We have taken his temperature, given him a bath, fed him with a bottle, walked him up and down the stairs.... so on and so on!!! However nothing works. It is official I think Abe has colic. There is nothing you can do but to just let it happen and run its course.

"They say" that it lasts about 3 months well I have 5 weeks to go please keep me in your prayers!!!! Oh yeah keep Abe in your prayers also.

"BAPTISED"

Well now Abe has been baptised. I will have to say I was a nervous wreck. First the 8 (which became an 11 hour trip) hour trip, then I was nervous about the mass itself however, Abe was an angel.

Did I mention I had two glasses of champagne afterwords!!!! If you are nursing do not drink in front of people, because 500 people will ask you if it is OK to drink and nurse!!!! Yet, the correct response would be MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS BIATCH!!!!

OUT OF CONTROL

So for those of you that do not know my mother is having a "baptism" party for Abe this Sunday. I get home and this house looks like someone is getting married. There are flowers, tents, a caterer!!!! Oh my gosh who knew a baptism could be so fancy!!!

HMMM I wonder if my next child will have a fancy Baptism or do you think by that time my mom will be like "here are the chips and dip!"

LESSON IN BATH'S

So you may know that I have never taken care of a baby before (sorry Abe you are an experiment). When I give Abe a bath it is a 2 second affair. Wash head, tummy, butt, feet and back (I pore water over the pp I am afraid to touch it do not want to hurt him).

So yesterday Billy's mom helped me give Abe a bath!!! Just to let you know, you must scrub Mr. baby, use a q-tip in all crevices (between toes and fingers and any other crevice like place). Who knew..... I did not. Sorry Abe like I said you are an experiment.

THIRD TIMES THE CHARM

So today will be the last day I attempt wireless Internet in the Haskins house. I bought fancy new equipment and maybe now I can have fancy schmancy Internet!!! So wish me luck with the technology because I lack much knowledge when it comes to "technology."

Abe slept 5 hours last night!!!!

F...ING DOG

Not only do I not get any sleep because I have a two week old but, my mother has asked me to keep her dog. He licks, barks, grunts and crys in his sleep!!! Did I mention he does this while I try to sleep as well.

My mother better pay me back big time for keeping this idiot!!!!

So today Abe had his first photo shoot. It was the worst thing I have ever been through. He cried the entire time and when he was not crying he was pooping (total of three times) on the photographers props or going number 1 on the photographers props. So after two hours of this nightmare I told her I was done and she said "I only have 15 pictures" I said "that is fine I can not take this any more of this."

I doubt Abe will be a model any time soon!!!
