PICTURE DAY

Abe had his picture taken on Saturday and he lasted about 45 minutes. Oh well Abe good thing you are just a baby.

HEY ABE

This is Abe and his Gram on Halloween. We were not in our costume very long however, Abe did enjoy looking at himself in the mirror.

Bath Time Baby

Well, here is Abe during his favorite time of the day "Bath Time." Now that wiggle worm can sit up bath time is a lot easier.

Stay tuned for the next post it will be a tutorial on "Baby Helmets." Yes, I said it.... baby helmets .... my husband (the tough guy) bought Abe a baby helmet so he will not hurt his head.

OUCH

Abe can now grab stuff. He will grab your face (with his nails that are like knifes), your hair, earrings, and whatever else is in his line of fire.

ITS FUN TO PLAY DRESS UP

I never knew it could be so fun to dress baby. We have many wardrobe changes and Abe likes everything I pick out for him.

TODAY

Today Billy, Abe, and Bernie took a family picture. Went to Dothan had lunch. Then around 3:00 the day fell apart with a little screaming. Oh well the day started off good!!!

FOOD

Do not tell the Pediatrician that Abe had his first "food" this evening. Did I mention Abe loved his peas, however I have a feeling we will have to strip him down and feed him in a diaper!!! The question is were there more peas on Abe and his Gram than Abe's tum tum.

YEP HE IS

Sorry I know I say it over and over and it may get old, but Abe is the cutest baby in the world. This is Abe at the beach he lasted about 30 minutes at the pool.

By the way bring your Muffy with you to the pool she will follow you around with an umbrella so your baby (that has on 70 sunscreen) will not get burnt.

BABY SITTERS

So I am loosing my built in baby sitter (Muffy) tomorrow. What is a girl to do with out a baby sitter!!! These are the times when I wish I lived close to the rents so I could have a baby sitter whenever needed.

So Abe this week it is me and you buddy!!!!

ARMPIT

Waxing is great, it removes hair and you do not have to shave for weeks. But what about when you have to let that hair grow out 1/4 inch to wax. Well, that is my armpit right now trying to reach that 1/4th of inch....sorry I know it is gross especially when I ware a tank top!!! Sorry friends and family just don't look until next week by then i will be hair free!!!!

Billy and Abe

Abe went to bed at 9 last night and woke at 7:30!!!! Yeah Abe.

ITS NOT THE CEREAL

Everyone will let you know why your baby is not sleeping. Mine was not sleeping for the following reasons:

1.) not enough food

2.) gas

3.) mean mommy

4.) does not like his crib

5.) needs a pillow

6.) mean mommy

7.) he needs formula

Guess what none of the above are true. Your baby will eventually sleep thought the night when he or she wants to or needs to, or when the parents finaly let the baby sleep through the night. However, I strongly advise putting your baby in the crib when it is time to sleep!!!

THE DOG AGAIN

So Thursday night I hear barking underneath my house around 7:00 p.m. (do i need to remind you this is crabby time at my house and the last thing i need to deal with is my mothers dog). Milo has gone underneath my house and has lost his way.

My mother wants me to call the fire department to go underneath my house to get him (yeah right like i am going to do that, they only do that in cartoons mother). So we have a huge argument on who is going under the house.... NOT ME THERE ARE SNAKES CATS AND ALL KINDS OF CRAP, LEAVE THE DAM DOG UNDER THE HOUSE AND LET THE JACK ASS FIND HIS WAY OUT!!!!! "No" my mother says i will go.

So Phyllis goes under the house (did I mention Kitty went with her to keep her company) and tries to get the dog. Milo finaly finds his way to the front of the house (there is no way out at the front) so my mother rips the slats off the front of my house to let the jackass out!!!!

Did I mention I hate this dog!!!!

NEW FRIEND

Abe and his new buddy Mattie! Mattie came over with her parents to give Abe a baby gift. Abe likes his new friend and hopes she comes over to play more often.

CUTEST BABY IN THE WORLD

Yes, I know every parent thinks their baby is the cutest, however just to let you know my baby is the cutest!!!!

This is Abe smiling for his Gram while his mommy was out walking.

Now lets see if he is this cute tonight around 6:00 p.m.!!!!

WITCHING HOUR

We have taken his temperature, given him a bath, fed him with a bottle, walked him up and down the stairs.... so on and so on!!! However nothing works. It is official I think Abe has colic. There is nothing you can do but to just let it happen and run its course.

"They say" that it lasts about 3 months well I have 5 weeks to go please keep me in your prayers!!!! Oh yeah keep Abe in your prayers also.

someone could make big bucks if they can figure out how to settle crazy crying babies!!!

"BAPTISED"

Well now Abe has been baptised. I will have to say I was a nervous wreck. First the 8 (which became an 11 hour trip) hour trip, then I was nervous about the mass itself however, Abe was an angel.

Did I mention I had two glasses of champagne afterwords!!!! If you are nursing do not drink in front of people, because 500 people will ask you if it is OK to drink and nurse!!!! Yet, the correct response would be MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS BIATCH!!!!

OUT OF CONTROL

So for those of you that do not know my mother is having a "baptism" party for Abe this Sunday. I get home and this house looks like someone is getting married. There are flowers, tents, a caterer!!!! Oh my gosh who knew a baptism could be so fancy!!!

HMMM I wonder if my next child will have a fancy Baptism or do you think by that time my mom will be like "here are the chips and dip!"

LESSON IN BATH'S

So you may know that I have never taken care of a baby before (sorry Abe you are an experiment). When I give Abe a bath it is a 2 second affair. Wash head, tummy, butt, feet and back (I pore water over the pp I am afraid to touch it do not want to hurt him).

So yesterday Billy's mom helped me give Abe a bath!!! Just to let you know, you must scrub Mr. baby, use a q-tip in all crevices (between toes and fingers and any other crevice like place). Who knew..... I did not. Sorry Abe like I said you are an experiment.
